Frisco Native American Museum A great place to learn...and have fun

Now is a great time to visit the Frisco Native American Museum , the nature trail is bursting with new life, the turtles and birds are out having fun on warm days and the museum is a vessel of knowledge regarding the Native American History and our important part in the birth of America...the kids will love seeing all the great things in the museum and Amber will be happy to share all she knows....and you may find some surprises that week ...or any other time....very reasonable rates for admission , there is a family rate...so stop by and enjoy and learn .

I first met Joyce and Carl Bornfriend over 15 years ago , when I visited the museum and fell in love with it and their amazing collection...it has changed so much in the last few years for the better and I get more impressed with every moment I can be there and see all the wonderful Native American Art and Treasures Carl and Joyce both retired educators have developed.  And if you get a chance to talk to them all the better.

I was fortunate enough to meet them because of my Friend Barbara Miller, who helped to institute a yearly Pow Wow , which I became part of , as a vendor, storyteller and sometimes in case of tropical storms ....dancer.   The Pow Wow site was moved to the museum a few years ago and is located in a beautiful section of the land surrounding the museum.  They hope to have another one soon.

But when you visit Hatteras and the Frisco area make sure to stop by and see all the wonderful history sitting in the plain little building... and learn about the important parts of Native American History both Locally and across America.
