Outer Banks Art and Craft Shows

Its Memorial Day weekend and the race to enjoy the Outer Banks Paradise has begun.   So Hello Visitors , welcome...and have a great , happy and safe time.

Now the number one thing you need to realize is that now you are here you need to put yourself on Island Time.   Slow down , feel the soft sands and visit all the wonderful opportunities there are to see and do.

A great opportunity this summer is a extensive series of Art and Craft Shows from Ocracoke to Currituck,

Today was a prime example , a huge (over 40 local artists)  Art Show at the Baum Center was  set up today and tomorrow to showcase and sell their works.  And what amazing work there is ...from Bird Sculptures by Vic and Ellen Berg, to Rustic Art by Frank Moore, paintings, photography, brightly colored painted fish, candles, mixed medium art and more.

So hopefully you will read this and make the effort to stop by tomorrow from 9 am to 4 pm , at the Baum Center in Kill Devil Hills, off Mustian Street behind the Kill Devil Hills Post Office.   You will be happy you did and I guarantee you will find a piece of local art to make your visit memorable. So browse the photos and come by and see us tomorrow ....

Open from 9am to 4 pm

And June 6th is the first Art Show at Windmill Point in Nags Head , right on Hwy 158 Every Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, every Thursday during June and July.

there is a lot more coming

So stop and enjoy
